The QPCC Squash Club will be hosting the PRO.COM / QPCC Easter Closed Squash championships this weekend from Thursday 8th - Saturday 10th.
PRO.COM (Process Components Ltd) is the proud sponsor of the first major local tournament for 2010.
The tournament has been registered as a PSA (Professional Squash Association) Closed Satellite event, which is the smallest possible PSA event. It requires the lowest minimum total prize money ($500 US) and awards the least PSA points.

There will be two categories: 1. PSA Event (Males only), and 2. Mixed B event

The PSA Draw comprises 16 players and this event will commence on Thursday evening. It will be following the PSA Closed Satellite rules and regulations. The tournament must be seeded using PSA rankings first and then National rankings second. The top 8 seeds are:

1. Ryan Abraham (PSA), 2. Kale Wilson (PSA), 3. Paul De Verteuil, 4. Richard Glanfield
5. John Holley, 6. Mark Laughlin, 7. Marc Pontifex, 8. Roger Salandy

Other players include top juniors, Chayse McQuan, Mandela Patrick and Nku Patrick.

This is the first local PSA event that will be paying US prize money to as many as the top 8 players.

In the Mixed B category, Rhea Khan is seeded #1 and Raymond Patrick (father of Mandela and Nku) will be seeded #2. This event will begin on Friday afternoon.

All Semi Finals and Final matches will be played on Saturday.

The draw and schedule will be released on Wednesday 7th April.
